Wrap Up: April 2025

Why does every month feel like it’s escaping me! It seems like yesterday that April began, but now it’s the end of April and we’re entering May?! Holy cow! April brought us a lot of rain, many days playing Marvel Rivals, and an endless amount of love from my boys (aka Denver and Aldo)! But you’re not here to read about why this month was a good month, you’re here to read about what I watched and read. So, without further ado, here is my wrap up for April!

Books I Completed

  1. The Silent Patient, Alex Michaelides: It’s okay. Nothing to write home about.

My Current Reads

  1. Onyx Storm, Rebecca Yarros.
  2. The Handmaid’s Tale, Margaret Atwood.
  3. First-Time Caller, B.K. Borison.

Movies I Watched

Death of a Unicorn, 2025: I enjoyed this movie, and thought it was fun! Read My Review!

Captain America: Civil War, 2016: I am a lover of the MCU and any movie that involves Mr. Bucky Barnes!

Perfect Days, 2023: A wonderful, heart warming movie about appreciating the little things. Read My Review!

Warfare, 2025: A must see of 2025! Overwhelming, anxiety, pain, and eye opening. Read My Review!

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, 2021: This was such a lovely movie and was the perfect movie for the start of the week!

The Irishman, 2019: This was so long, but so good. I really liked this, and am not surprised that it is on the Criterion list!

Sinners, 2025: Probably the best movie of 2025! Read My Review!

TV Shows I Watched

Daredevil: Born Again: I enjoyed this, but the last 3 episodes felt like a drag and didn’t live up to their potential. Excited for Season 2 and to continue to see John Bernthal on my screen again!

Grey’s Anatomy: I have watched this before and know exactly what is going to happen, but I just couldn’t help but rewatch!

Studio: This leaves me feeling anxious the entire time but boy howdy it is so good!

The Last of Us: Can you hear me crying? I am heartbroken, and don’t think I will never not be heartbroken while watching this.

The Pitt: Something about medical drama’s just warms my soul! I am trying not to binge watch this right now!

3 Things I Am Grateful For

  1. Watching my friends get married.
  2. Visiting my grandparents.
  3. Festivals & hanging out with friends!

Overall, I am happy with everything I did and consumed this month! I don’t often get to see my friends as frequently as I did this month, and I also liked a lot of what I consumed!

Is there anything you are grateful for this month?

It’s a good day to have a good day!

What are your thoughts?
