Another month of little to no content for a girl like me who loves content. Another slow month which may be for the best. Without further ado, my most anticipated releases for October!

The Smashing Machine, 2025 โ€“ In Theatres, October 03
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in a sports drama? AND it’s an A24 film? Count. Me. In.

Good Boy, 2025 โ€“ In Theatres, October 03
This is one of the most interesting premises for a horror movie… And yeah, I will probably end up crying.

Tron: Ares, 2025 โ€“ In Theatres, October 10
All I know is that this looks fun… that’s it.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, 2025 โ€“ In Theatres, October 24
I’m a big fan of biopic’s and this is no different. Also Jeremy Allen White is a great actor, so I will take any chance I can to watch more with him in it.

Marvel Zombies, Season 1 โ€“ Streaming on Disney+ on October 03
To be fair, I do not like a lot of Marvel TV Shows. However, I am willing to give this a chance because… superhero zombies.

IT: Welcome to Derry, Season 1 Streaming on HBO Max on October 26
I haven’t watched the second IT film, but I liked the first one. So, I’ll be watching the first few episodes.

Me? A lover of zombie apocalypse media? That’s true and I am going to devour this!

The Resurrectionist by Kathleen S. Allen โ€“ Releases October 07
I have already read this, and gave it a 4 out of 5 stars on Goodreads! It’s a young adult, historical fiction, horror book that is delicious!

Heartsick by Kristina Forest โ€“ Releases October 07
I’ve also read this, and have it a 4 out of 5 stars on Goodreads! It’s a sweet and fast contemporary teen romance, and you should definitely read it!

Revolve by Bal Khabra โ€“ Releases October 14
So, uh, let’s be real… I DNF’s Khabra’s 2nd book in the Off the Ice series. I’m giving her one last chance and then… we’re breaking up.

Boom Town by Nic Stone โ€“ Releases October 14
I enjoy suspenseful thrillers, and the synopsis really drew me in with this one!

The Princess Knight by Cait Jacobs โ€“ Releases October 14
This debut grabbed at me heart immediately! I love a good retelling with a princess and the cover!? Oh my goodness, The Princess Brides vibes!

The Devil She Knows by Alexandria Bellefleur โ€“ Releases October 21
Paranormal LGBT romance?? Perfect for October!

Good Spirits by B.K. Borison โ€“ Releases October 21
I read First Time Caller by Borison, and I wasn’t made about it, so I want to give this one a chance! A cute little holiday, paranormal for the Christmas season!

Hazelthorn by C.G. Drews โ€“ Releases October 28
A LGBT, Gothic Fantasy? Count me in! Plus the cover is gorgeous!
