We’re back in full swing at work (and by that, I mean that I’m slower than a turtle) and I feel like I have watched and read little to nothing. But I did read 5 books, and am quickly adding to my currently reading list… Boy howdy, let’s get this moving!
Books I Completed
- Lovewell Lane, Ansley B. Calloway: Unfortuently, I did DNF this… Not because of Calloway, but I think I’ve just grown out of her writing.
- Family of Liars, E. Lockhart: Although from a different POV, the FMC’s feel the same. It was a cool read to see where things really began to go down hill.
- Legends & Lattes, Travis Baldree: Such a cute and cozy read to get me through the drive to Colorado!
- Lessons in Chemistry, Bonnie Garmus: 5/5, such a GOOD book!
My Current Reads
- Project: Hail Mary, Andy Weir.
- 1984, Geroge Orwell.
- Unreasonable Hospitality, Will Guidara.
Movies I Watched
The Smashing Machine, 2025: A24 really loves their sports biopics and I’m not mad at it. Dwayne Johnson is also exemplify in it!
The Revenant, 2015: I’ve seen the bear scene before and it never gets less gross…
Companion, 2025: I never thought I’d say robot lives matter, but here I am.
Caddo Lake, 2024: Nothing special, but cool concept. I am a Dylan O’Brien lover so that also helped.
Taken, 2008: A solid movie! Loved watching Liam Neeson in his element!
It, 2017: Crazy this movie is over a decade old and it’s still a classic movie. Watched it for spooky time vibes!
It Chapter Two, 2019: This does not live up to the original… Sadly.
Sully, 2016: I’ve been wanting to watch this for awhile, and I thought it was alright. Overly dramatized maybe, but not bad.
BlacKkKlansman, 2018: Still a 5 star movie. No way around it.
TV Shows I Watched
Peacemaker: We’ve finally finished it! And… that final was weak.
Jury Duty: Such a funny prank to pull on an unsuspecting individual!
3 Things I Am Grateful For
- We went to Colorado!! Ahh!
- Got a new dryer (finally).
- Finished my book… oooh!
