There are a handful of movies I wish I could experience again for the first time— Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Whiplash, Little Miss. Sunshine, to name a few. But there is one movie I would erase from my brain completely, walk into blind, and experience in theaters for the very first time: Interstellar.
The first time I watched it, the experience was so much bigger than I anticipated. The story of love, sacrifice, time, and the beauty of the unknown completely sucked me in and left me in tears. Going into it, I assumed it was just another “film bro” movie, and sure, it kind of is, but it’s also the type of film that leaves you breathless and emotionally wrecked.
Interstellar is one of those rare movies that not only entertains you, but genuinely changes your brain chemistry. Visually, it is breathtakingly beautiful. Hans Zimmer’s score is unforgettable, and the story lingers long after the credits roll.

I would love the chance to see it in theaters, exactly as it was meant to be experienced. To feel the wonder and heartbreak all over again — the kind of heartbreak that only hits when you have absolutely no idea what’s coming next.
